It has been a little crazy. And extremely stressful. Its really weird to be living on my own. I mean I know I have a roomate, but he is not in the room that often and he most certainly isn't going to take care of me. It isn't his responsibility to make sure i eat right or get to class on time. At times it feels like I have been tossed into a well with sharks swimming around me. I say a well because it is much harder to get out of than anything like an ocean. What really worries me is that I don't know how I will get it all done. Get to class, learn something, get to athletic training( I am a studying trainer), get some exercise to stay healthy myself, then come back and actually do my homework. It is a balancing act I know, but I am still trying to find my balance. I am hoping and praying that it will come in time, because I love everything else about this school. The community feel is awesome, so far classes have been fun and everything else is going well. But I feel stretched beyond my limits at times, and for some reason beyond my concious comprehension I still have a desire to do more. To sum it all up, I am still trying to figure it all out.

TLU Life So Far...

Well it would appear that I am the first freshman "blogger", so here it goes...

TLU is a great social and learning environment to be in I have learned. Welcome week has made it very easy for us freshman to go a little out of our comfort zone to meet people. You couldn't go anywhere without someone walking up to you and asking you your name and introducing themselves and exchange of phone numbers. From the free food (WOOT! Next stop my thighs!) to fun activities, even though rain tried ruin it, you always have somewhere to hang with newly-made friends and made new ones...

Small classes really do make a big difference here... Profressors/Dr.s tell you what you need to do to be successful and they really seem like they want you to. Everything is so close together it's hard to get lost. And you are kept well informed on where to go if you ever have any questions...

Though tackling internet in Hahn was annoying, IT helped out and got it running...

But it's still college, and that means a lot of work, which I should be getting to!

Keep it real! Have Fun! Laugh a little!
