It's hard to believe, but there are only 11 days of lecture left. Ridiculous. This semester has flown by.
I signed up for classes yesterday; I didn't get 18 hours like I wanted, but maybe it was a sign; I know all of my classes next semester are going to be suuuuuuuuuper reading and writing intensive. Whatever. I'm feeling good. Although, I will miss all of my classes. As lame as it sounds, academically, I really learned a whole lot, plus I met a lot of cool people.
But I'm not gonna lie, I am ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Things have been soooo hectic. All of my professors are trying to squeeze in exams before the finals, and then homework on top of that. Whew. It's hard to stay motivated.
Oh well, just gotta keep up and stay positive.
Well I haven't been able to post anything I have been really busy. For the fourth time I have changed my major, but this time it is going to stay Sociology and I'm also minoring in Psychology, so I'm really excited for this new change. Besides that is exactly what college is all about, finding who you are and that sometimes means changing your career goals. Thanksgiving is just around the corner and I can't wait for it. I can almost smell and taste the turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy... YUM!!! The bad news is that right after thanksgiving we only have about 2 weeks of school left; getting out for break is not bad news, but final exams. Hope that I'm prepared by that time. The reward in the end though will be Christmas and more hours to be able to graduate. I'M SO READY FOR THAT!!!
Well.... The first half of the race is almost finished folks. The semester is almost half-way done and I have managed to survive my hectic schedule along the way. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving break and the great catch-up time it will provide. As I get closer to graduating it seems to be kind of weird. Since this is my first semester living on campus I can say that this has been my most fun semester and really makes me miss those other three years and the fun I could have had. Oh well, keep looking forward. Also it's weird because I originally intended to go to grad/law school after college but I really don't want to go to school anymore after graduating but we'll see. Ehh.. I'm probably just saying this because I am in the thick of it!
Until next time!
I am so excited. Thursday I get to pick up my registration packet and pick out classes for next semester. I've had a great time: good classes, good professors, (and hopefully good grades), but I definitely need a change of scenery.
Whew...long time, no post. My bad. Well, you see, I've been pretty busy. School is definitely interfering with my social life. How did I let that happen? A little thing called procrastination -- actually, a big thing called procrastination. I've been getting behind on stuff (more than usual). I mean, I never turn stuff in late, but seriously, I need to get my act together so I can get a life outside of school and facebook.
