So maybe I didn't hit up those text books like I had planned. Actually, I didn't do much homework for the rest of the week, so the entirity of my weekend was filled with text books and, unfortunately, sickness. I guess I had been dealt karma from the gods of procrastination.
This week is going to be, and already has been, super busy. Between Alpha Kappa Psi, Student Ambassadors, Peer Mentoring, and other random meetings, I don't think that there will be much time for homework. While walking back to my dorm earlier, I remembered the speech that was given to me as a freshman: "Don't spread yourself too thin." Looking back now, I'm fairly sure that that message didn't resonate. Looks like I'll have a repeat of last weekend minus the sickness (hopefully).
I've come to the conclusion that your sophomore year in college is very similar to the "terrible two's" of child rearing. It's hellish to say the least, but, in all honesty, I don't think that I would have it any other way.
