Since I've been reading Nickeled & Dimed, I've began to take a look at my life and compare my basic living to those in the book. Sometimes I take life for granted and don't realize how lucky I really am to just have a life like mine. I should realize the unfortunate do not have anything to fall back on, most of the time no one to fall on either. Having a family, having emotional support is a necessity to the unfortunate and people like myself believe it is a need. Not everyone has the same opportunities, so when I go somewhere where and the employees are paid low and aren't enthusiastic about their job, I shouldn't get angry or upset. I should take a look at my live because it's in no way compared to what they have to go through everyday just to get by, so of course they have a reason to be upset. People like me and others need to open our eyes and see how our needs aren't really needs at all, the real needs come from the ones who we don't think much of but make a big difference.
