Eventful Weekend

Hey Bulldogs,
I hope everyone is doing well! Last night, the Exquisite Charter Class of Sigma Delta Lambda Sorority, Inc., had the honor to present the Audacious Alpha Line! We have a new addition of 8 beautiful ladies who now represent our organization. These girls have worked so hard, and as their Stepmaster I was able to not only teach them how to step, but also interact with them. I am a very proud sister to these new actives. The girls stepped their hearts out, and demonstrated their sassiness. The event was a great turnout, there were greeks and non-greeks who came to support, including our other sisters from Texas State University, and University of Texas. Now Sigma Delta Lambda has the tradition of doing roll call to show our respect to each organization. We appreciated the support from our very own TLU community, Beta Alpha Sigma, The ladies of Xi Tau, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., Omega Tau, Sigma Phi Theta, Zeta Chi, the new art organization of Alpha Rho Tau, and Womens Inc. . We even had support from other organizations that came from different institutions including: Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc. Again we want to say thank you.
Now coming up for this week, I will go support the art organization of Alpha Rho Tau and Womens Inc., at their first House Party that will be at Jackson Party Barn this upcoming Saturday. Now the twist of this event is that Alpha Rho Tau and Womens Inc, will be taking canned foods as the entry fee. The reason for this is to raise as many canned food products, and contribute them to the Backpack program that we have here on campus, to help At-Risk Youth children here in the Seguin Community. The Backpack program is to help feed children that do not have enough to eat on the weekends when they are not at school. Since At-Risk youth is our Philanthropy, this is something that is extremely exciting. Not only do we support two great organizations on our campus, but at the same time collaborate with others to help with At-Risk Youth. Before I forget, I want to congratulate our fellow sisters at Texas State University for the great success that they had at the Annual Youth Summit for At-Risk youth this past week.
Well Bulldogs have a great and safe weekend
